GILLETTE, Wyo. (AP) The Campbell County Commission appears to have exceeded its authority when it dissolved several county boards. A state Attorney General’s opinion says the commission cannot dissolve the county library board because state law requires that and other boards.

HELENA - More details have been released about a Montana soldier who was killed in Afghanistan. The Department of Defense said Wednesday that 19-year-old Private Nicholas Cook of Hungry Horse was killed when insurgents opened fire on his unit in Konar province on March 7.
