Coroner: Houston oil exec hit forehead in fall, drowned

NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans coroner says a Houston energy executive drowned in the Mississippi River, and apparently hit his forehead as he fell from a steamboat dock. Consumers warned against possible lead contamination in pottery

Police department to get computer upgrades

HOUSTON—The Houston City Council just voted to give the police department $79,000 for a computer upgrade.
